Australia Japan Conference (AJC)

The Australia-Japan Conference in which the AJBCC and the JABCC participate is a forum for discussions between Government and the business sector. Typical attendees are from a broad range of people in the Australia-Japan fields of politics, business, research institutes and universities as well as media.

This meeting has been occurring since 2001 and has been held either in Australia or Japan. There have been eight of these held since the Conference’s inception.

The conference is co-chaired by Sir Rod Eddington AO, Chairman of the Australia-Japan Business Cooperation Committee, and Dr Akio Mimura, AC, Chairman of the Japan-Australia Business Cooperation Committee.
