JABCC: Newly Appointed Future Leader Co-Chair

JABCC: Newly Appointed Future Leader Co-Chair

Future Leader Co-Chair of our counterpart organisation, the JABCC, Kohei Tamura of Rio Tinto has stepped down after a long contribution to the group in that role.

``I thoroughly enjoyed being a co-chair of the FLP in Japan over the last few years, working closely with many people from different industries. I see this group as a rare opportunity for people with diverse backgrounds from across the two countries to work together for something bigger than yourself, resulting in forming lasting friendship. Taking this opportunity, I would like to show my appreciation to all who support the group, including Australian and Japanese Ambassadors, the AJBCC and JABCC organisations and their executives in both Australia and Japan, despite their busy calendars. I intend to remain involved, focusing on developing the Future Leaders alumni network``.

Luke Russell, Senior Legal Counsel at INPEX Corporation in Tokyo is the incoming Co-Chair of the Japan side group. View his LinkedIn profile here.
