05 May Joint Business Conference Update – theme announced
The JABCC has just announced that the overall theme for this year’s Joint Business Conference (JBC) will be “New Partnership for the Future.”
Why “New Partnership for the Future”
In 2019 we see an increasingly global landscape marked by challenges such as the US-China trade war, Brexit and the geopolitical risks surrounding the Korean Peninsula.
In this environment he business risks have never been greater. New alliances and partnerships will have to be developed to respond to these risks. How can they be developed?
Rather than thinking of using existing stereotypical structures, we might need to be more expansive and invent partnerships which transcend and cut across the classes such as industry sectors, regions, nations and even “generations.”
Therefore this year’s conference theme , New Partnership for the Future seeks to bring AJBCC and JABCC together to collaborate and discuss how this can be achieved.

2019 Joint Business Conference Details
The meeting will be held at the New Otani Hotel in Osaka from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 October 2019.
This will be the 57th annual meeting for member companies of the AJBCC and the JABCC.
