South Australian Government Announces Tokyo Office

The South Australian Government has announced this enthusiastic initiative, which is intended to increase opportunities between the State and Japan. Having on the ground representation is seen as key to leveraging bilateral business connections.

South Australia joins New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia, who already have long established offices in Tokyo.

Opening Reception

The South Australian State Government hosted a reception in Tokyo on March 7 to announce the opening of its office and confirm the strong links between South Australia and Japan.

His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, together with The Hon. David Ridgway MLC, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment travelled to Tokyo for the announcement.
