NSW Government & Embassy of Japan Focus on Infrastructure

NSW Government & Embassy of Japan Focus on Infrastructure

The NSW Government recently hosted a mission of Japanese companies to Australia focusing on participation opportunities in projects such as the Western Sydney Aerotropolis project and Westmead Medical Precinct. The visit coincided with the Japanese Embassy’s Third Japan-Australia Infrastructure Networking Meeting in Sydney, featuring presentations from the Federal and State governments plus the private sector in both countries. These events enabled Japanese companies to network with senior bureaucrats responsible for the policy and implementation of infrastructure developments, with Australia’s predilection and process around public-private partnerships laid out.
