The Hamer Scholarships offer Victorians the opportunity for language study and cultural engagement with Japan (and other designated countries) The program aims to improve language skills and cultural understanding; develop business and people-to-people networks; and contribute to Victoria’s international engagement.

  • Hamer Scholarships are valued at A$15,000 for language study in Japan.
  • The scholarships are offered for a minimum of one semester or 5 – 6 months study at selected universities or institutions in Japan.
