The Australian Government funded Australia Japan Foundation (AJF) has announced its 2018 grant round which will receive applications until 4 April 2018. The grant program is designed to:
- strengthen bilateral relationships in areas of mutual interest
- create international networks, collaboration and connections between institutions and communities to build understanding, trust and influence
- enhance Australia’s international reputation and reach through the promotion of its economic, creative and cultural, sporting, innovation and science, and education assets
- increase understanding of Australians of the cultures and opportunities in Japan
