Exploring New Angles: AJBCC Tokyo Conference

The AJBCC’s Joint Business Conference with our counterpart organisation the JABCC(Japan Australia Business Co-operation Committee) held its annual conference in Tokyo in October with its overall theme “Viewing Change as Opportunity”. In addition to presentations in the resources and energy and financial services sector, there was significant participation by our Future Leaders Group and a special presentation updating Japan’s plans for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Japanese Government’s Society 5.0. The Governor of Tokyo Yuriko Koike’s attendance at the conference rounded out the meeting which had the largest number of Australian and Japanese participants at the annual meeting held in Japan in the last 20 years. Almost 400 attendees from both Australia and Japan participated in the meeting.
