Financial Services Council: Japan Mission

Financial Services Council: Japan Mission

Australia’s Financial Services Council (FSC) will be leading a delegation of asset manager CEOs to Japan. This will be the second time the FSC has taken a delegation to Japan. The mission date is the week of the 9th October 2017. The objectives of the trip will be to explore opportunities arising from the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (JAEPA) and continue discussions on the Asia Region Funds Passport (due to commence 31 December 2017). The delegation is expecting Ministerial support and intends to meet with Japanese regulators and relevant Government officials. It will also be an opportunity to showcase Australia’s expertise in the funds management sector and develop connections with local distribution and marketing businesses.
