In Sydney just for the day, he attended a business round table, a JNTO tourism promotion seminar before one-on-one meetings with Prime Minister Turnbull, followed by a welcome reception and private dinner.
Accompanied by a 22 person strong Japanese Business Delegation which included Chairman of the JABCC, Dr Akio Mimura AC, the business mission members included senior Japanese executives from the following fields:
  • infrastructure
  • transport
  • resources
  • education
  • real estate
  • finance
  • construction
  • manufacturing
  • biotechnology
  • tourism
  • local government
The AJBCC Executive Committee joined with the JABCC to host a welcome dinner for the Japanese business delegation and accompanying Japanese Government officials. Federal Ministers Julie Bishop, Senators Sinodinos and McGrath and Assistant Minister Keith Pitt and State Ministers from South Australia, Martin Hamilton-Smith and NSW, Dominic Perrottet, joined the dinner.
