Japan-Australia Exchange: Focus on Healthy Ageing

A group of Japanese researchers will meet with Australian institutions and companies during February 2016 under an Australian Government program designed to showcase Australian R&D. The objective of the program is to explore collaborations that could lead to commercialisation opportunities.

The Japan Australia Science and Innovation Connect Program (JASIC) is administered by the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE). 8 professionals from Japan will visit Australia from the 21-26 February 2016. The theme of the visit is “science and technology applications for healthy ageing and societal benefits.” Further information is available by contacting Dr Carolyn O’Brien, Senior International Relations and Policy Officer at ATSE.
