Record Numbers: Fukuoka Conference

The AJBCC/JABCC’s Joint Business Conference which begins this Sunday (Oct 4) in Fukuoka will see record numbers from both the Australian and Japanese business community compared with attendances recorded over the last decade. In total, there will be 350 delegates. With the conference being held in Japan this year, the number from Australia will almost equal the highest number achieved when the meeting was last held in Japan in Tokyo. On the Japanese side, the delegate numbers will break previous records.

With the appeal of a delighful and vibrant regional area of Japan and the backdrop of the intensified engagement between Australia and Japan resulting from the introduction of the Japan Australia Economic Partnership Agreement, (JAEPA), the delegate numbers offer up solid evidence that the business community sees significant opportunities. Three State Government Ministers and a former State Premier will also participate in the conference.

The latest program is available here. This will be the 53rd annual conference.

Registered delegates have already been sent the full delegate list.
