The JABCC’s current Director General, well known by a number of AJBCC members,Yoshiro Okabe passed away suddenly in Tokyo on the 28th August 2015. He was age 65. Okabe-san was a strong supporter of Australia-Japan relations and was the administrative head of the AJBCC’s counterpart body in Tokyo, the JABCC. He assumed his JABCC post in 2009 and was regarded as a good networker. Sir Rod, on behalf of the AJBCC, has expressed condolences to his wife and children.
