22 May New Ambassador of Japan: Sumio Kusaka

His Excellency Sumio Kusaka has arrived in Australia to take up his post as the new Ambassador of Japan. Kusaka-san previously was Ambassador, Consul-General in New York. He has a strong tie with Australia. His very first overseas posting in 1981-83 was at the Embassy of Japan in Canberra. Moreover, he participated in the first round of negotiations for the Japan Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (JAEPA).
