The AJBCC held an Australia-Japan luncheon in Perth on Thursday June 8, 2017 immediately following its Executive Committee meeting there. Around 80 people, comprising AJBCC members and invited Australian and Japanese senior executives and Government officials attended the networking function. Hosted by AJBCC Member companies, Rio Tinto and Hogan Lovells, the meeting Building On Solid Foundations: Focusing On The Future Of Business Opportunities With Japan was addressed by Sir Rod Eddington AO, AJBCC President, the Hon Ben Wyatt MLA, Treasurer, Minister for Finance; Energy; Aboriginal Affairs, Government of Western Australia and HE Sumio Kusaka, Japanese Ambassador to Australia.
