Peter Grey, an Executive Member of the AJBCC, has received an award from the Emperor of Japan for his contribution to the promotion and development of Australia-Japan relations. Peter has received the The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star. He was Australia’s first Agricultural Counsellor at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo, later on to be appointed Australian Ambassador to Japan. He is former CEO of Austrade and is currently Chairman of MLC and a senior adviser to Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
