On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Basic Treaty of Friendhip and Co-operation between Australia and Japan, the Japanese Foreign Ministry announced a number of awardees of the Foreign Minister’s Commendation. The commendation is recognition of the promotion of friendship and goodwill between Japan and Australia. Ian Williams, Vice President of the AJBCC and Partner at Herbert Smith Freehills and David Jacobs, CEO of the AJBCC will receive their award from the Consul General of Japan, Masato Takaoka on Thursday 6 October.
